Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in a high-energy, noisy environment with distractions
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and move throughout the kitchen for extended periods
- Ability to frequently reach, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift
- Ability to use hands and arms to operate kitchen equipment and perform fine motor tasks
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred but not required
- Ability to follow recipes and adhere to food safety standards
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment operation
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Dave & Buster's recipes and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work station adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Inform immediate supervisor of operational issues or unusual circumstances and suggest solutions
- Manage time efficiently to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to minimize waste and maintain cost efficiency
- Assist with inventory management including proper storage and rotation of food items
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, reporting any malfunctions promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas including washing dishes and utensils
- Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries ensuring accuracy and quality
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and service team
- Support fellow team members to maintain a positive and productive kitchen environment
- Foster positive and cooperative relationships with all team members
