Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment
- be available to work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- work effectively and efficiently in a high-energy, noisy environment
- understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
- stand and move throughout the kitchen for extended periods
- frequently reach, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift
- use hands and arms for fine motor skills tasks
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience as a cook or in a kitchen environment beneficial
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines
- effective communication and teamwork skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- attention to detail and organizational skills
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Dave & Buster's recipes and quality standards
- maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work station adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- inform immediate supervisor of operational issues or unusual circumstances and suggest solutions
- efficiently manage time to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
- accurately follow recipes and portion control guidelines to minimize waste
- assist with inventory management including proper storage and rotation of food items
- operate kitchen equipment safely and report any malfunctions promptly
- maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas including washing dishes and utensils
- assist in receiving and storing food deliveries ensuring accuracy and quality
- collaborate with kitchen staff and service team members to ensure smooth and efficient service
- support fellow team members to maintain a positive and productive kitchen environment
- foster positive relationships with all team members to promote an enjoyable atmosphere
