Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude
- availability to work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ability to work effectively in a high-energy environment
- ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- ability to stand and move for extended periods
- ability to reach, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift frequently
- manual dexterity to operate kitchen equipment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment preferred
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced and noisy environment
- basic understanding of kitchen equipment operation
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work station
- inform supervisor of operational issues and suggest solutions
- manage time effectively to ensure timely food preparation
- follow recipes and portion control guidelines
- assist with inventory management including food storage and rotation
- operate kitchen equipment safely and report malfunctions
- maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas
- assist in receiving and storing food deliveries
- collaborate with kitchen staff and service team
- support team members to maintain positive kitchen environment
- foster cooperative working relationships with all team members
