Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude
  • availability to work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to work effectively in a high-energy environment
  • ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • ability to stand and move for extended periods
  • ability to reach, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift frequently
  • manual dexterity to operate kitchen equipment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment preferred
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions
  • strong communication and teamwork skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced and noisy environment
  • basic understanding of kitchen equipment operation

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work station
  • inform supervisor of operational issues and suggest solutions
  • manage time effectively to ensure timely food preparation
  • follow recipes and portion control guidelines
  • assist with inventory management including food storage and rotation
  • operate kitchen equipment safely and report malfunctions
  • maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas
  • assist in receiving and storing food deliveries
  • collaborate with kitchen staff and service team
  • support team members to maintain positive kitchen environment
  • foster cooperative working relationships with all team members
