Job Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment
  • be available for various shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • work effectively amid noise and distractions
  • understand and follow written and verbal instructions
  • lift and carry items up to 50 pounds
  • stand and move throughout the kitchen for extended periods
  • reach, bend, stoop, kneel, and perform tasks requiring fine motor skills
  • comply with all food safety and sanitation procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous kitchen or cooking experience preferred
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines
  • strong communication and teamwork skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work station
  • inform supervisors of operational issues and propose solutions
  • manage time to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
  • follow recipes and portion control guidelines accurately
  • assist with inventory management and food storage
  • operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain cleanliness
  • assist with food deliveries and storage
  • collaborate with kitchen staff and service team to ensure smooth service
  • support team members to maintain a positive kitchen environment
  • foster a positive working relationship with team members
