Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment
- availability to work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ability to work in a noisy, high-energy environment with potential distractions
- ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
- stand and move throughout the kitchen for extended periods
- frequently reach, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift
- use hands and arms to operate kitchen equipment and perform fine motor tasks
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred
- ability to follow recipes and safety procedures
- strong communication skills
- ability to work in a team environment
- physical stamina to stand and move for extended periods
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
- basic inventory management skills
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Dave & Buster's recipes and quality standards
- maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work station
- inform immediate supervisor of operational issues and suggest solutions
- manage time efficiently to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
- follow recipes and portion control guidelines accurately
- assist with inventory management including food storage and rotation
- operate kitchen equipment safely and report malfunctions
- maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas
- assist in receiving and storing food deliveries
- collaborate with kitchen staff and service teammates
- support fellow team members to maintain positive kitchen environment
- foster cooperative relationships with all team members
