Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment
  • availability to work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to work in a noisy, high-energy environment with potential distractions
  • ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
  • lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • stand and move throughout the kitchen for extended periods
  • frequently reach, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift
  • use hands and arms to operate kitchen equipment and perform fine motor tasks

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred
  • ability to follow recipes and safety procedures
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work in a team environment
  • physical stamina to stand and move for extended periods
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • basic inventory management skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to Dave & Buster's recipes and quality standards
  • maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work station
  • inform immediate supervisor of operational issues and suggest solutions
  • manage time efficiently to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
  • follow recipes and portion control guidelines accurately
  • assist with inventory management including food storage and rotation
  • operate kitchen equipment safely and report malfunctions
  • maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas
  • assist in receiving and storing food deliveries
  • collaborate with kitchen staff and service teammates
  • support fellow team members to maintain positive kitchen environment
  • foster cooperative relationships with all team members
