Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment
- Be available to work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Work effectively in a high-energy, noisy environment with potential distractions
- Understand and follow written and verbal instructions including recipes and safety procedures
- Lift and carry items up to 50 pounds
- Stand and move throughout the kitchen for extended periods
- Frequently reach, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift
- Use hands and arms to operate kitchen equipment and perform tasks requiring fine motor skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is desirable
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic skills in operating kitchen equipment
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Dave & Buster's recipes and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work station adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Inform immediate supervisor of any operational issues or unusual circumstances and proactively suggest solutions
- Efficiently manage time to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
- Accurately follow recipes and portion control guidelines to minimize waste and maintain cost efficiency
- Assist with inventory management including proper storage and rotation of food items
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, reporting any malfunctions promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas, including washing dishes and utensils
- Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries ensuring accuracy and quality
- Collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff and service team members
- Support fellow team members to maintain a positive and productive kitchen environment
- Foster a positive and cooperative working relationship with all team members
