Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Food handler certification
  • On-the-job training experience preferred
  • Must be 21 years of age or older to drive for company business
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be attentive to safety hazards and able to report or address them promptly
  • Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment
  • Must maintain attendance at work
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Food handler certification required
  • Typically involves on-the-job training
  • Ability to safely operate hazardous tools and equipment
  • Ability to read and operate digital equipment, meters, dials, and calibrated scales
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Prepares and cooks food by following established recipes to exact specifications
  • Assists kitchen personnel with cooking, slicing, weighing, packaging, labeling, pricing, and maintaining product displays
  • Adheres to quality control and food safety standards by stocking and rotating prepared foods
  • Stacks pallets and sorts products according to company efficiency standards
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and sanitary working and shopping environment by following company safety procedures
  • Provides friendly customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and taking special orders
  • Promotes product sales through suggestive selling initiatives
