Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Experience in restaurant settings
- Ability to understand and communicate Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy
- Knowledge of primary language(s) used at the work location
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Willingness to take initiative to accomplish station goals
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a restaurant or food service environment
- Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy
- Strong communication skills including speaking, writing, and understanding the primary language(s) of the work location
- Demonstrated team leadership or supervisory skills
- Ability to work on feet for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Job Duties
- Ensuring food quality by cooking and prepping food to order and following kitchen procedures
- Monitoring food waste and inventory levels and resolving food quality issues
- Supporting a strong team dynamic between back of house crew and front of house crew
- Developing crew members to be future kitchen leaders
- Communicating with crew members and customers effectively to ensure great customer service and throughput
- Ensuring the kitchen is properly cleaned and sanitized
- Monitoring kitchen equipment and ensuring it is kept in good repair
- making sure malfunctioning equipment is repaired as quickly as possible
- Ensuring that the kitchen and all crew members meet necessary safety guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents
- Filling out Material Safety Data Sheets and Inventory Rotation (FIFO)
