Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous restaurant experience preferred
  • Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy
  • Fluency in the primary language(s) of the work location

Job Duties

  • Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order, following kitchen procedures
  • Monitor food waste and inventory levels, resolving food quality issues as needed
  • Foster a strong team dynamic between back of house Crew and front of house Crew
  • Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders
  • Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great customer service and throughput
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area
  • Monitor kitchen equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and swift repair of any malfunctioning equipment
  • Ensure all safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries and accidents
  • Complete Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Inventory Rotation (FIFO) as required
