Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior restaurant or food service experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively in the primary language(s) of the location
  • Understanding of Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy
  • Ability to work on feet for extended periods
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Willingness to learn and grow
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a restaurant or fast-food environment
  • Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy
  • Good communication skills in the primary language(s) of the work location
  • Ability to train and develop team members
  • Strong teamwork and leadership skills
  • Basic food safety knowledge

Job Duties

  • Ensuring food quality by cooking and prepping food to order and following kitchen procedures
  • Monitoring food waste and inventory levels and resolving food quality issues
  • Supporting a strong team dynamic between back of house Crew and front of house Crew
  • Developing Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders
  • Communicating with Crew members and customers effectively to ensure great customer service and throughput
  • Ensuring the kitchen is properly cleaned and sanitized
  • Monitoring kitchen equipment and ensuring it is kept in good repair and making sure malfunctioning equipment is repaired promptly
  • Ensuring kitchen and Crew members adhere to safety guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents
  • Filling out Material Safety Data Sheets and Inventory Rotation (FIFO)
