Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency on salad sautee and pizza stations
  • bilingual English and Spanish
  • strong leadership organizational and problem-solving skills
  • experience in kitchen supervision or management
  • knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • culinary training or relevant certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Supervise train and guide junior kitchen staff ensuring they follow standards for food preparation and presentation
  • prepare dishes according to recipes oversee the cooking process and ensure all food meets high-quality standards
  • manage stock monitor food supplies process orders and ensure efficient use of ingredients to control costs and minimize waste
  • collaborate with the head chef on menu creation and planning and help develop new recipes
  • ensure strict adherence to health safety and sanitation regulations including proper food handling and storage
  • oversee daily kitchen activities maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure all equipment is in working order
  • assume full responsibility for the kitchen and its operations in the head chef's absence
