Job Requirements

  • Food Handler Certification
  • ability to lift up to or over 50 pounds
  • standing for up to 8 hours at one time
  • working shifts up to 12 hours
  • must be able to pass a drug test
  • willingness to work in environments with cold, heat and water exposure
  • ability to follow local health board agency food handling procedures
  • ability to work a flexible schedule

Job Duties

  • Setting up stations according to restaurant guidelines
  • preparing all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
  • restocking all items needed throughout shift
  • cleaning and maintaining stations while practicing good safety, sanitation and organizational skills
  • assisting with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers and all storage areas
  • performing additional responsibilities as requested by the Kitchen Manager
  • adhering to all Spinato's specifications and recipes
  • adhering to all Spinato's policies and procedures as stated in the employee handbook
  • adhering to all proper food handling procedures as set forth by the local Health Board Agency
  • opening and closing department
  • communicating clearly with team members
