Job Requirements
- Meet all minimum requirements of the Team Member role
- Ability to lift cases or bags of produce plus protein weighing up to approximately 40 pounds
- Ability to use tactile sensitivity for quality assessment and detailed tasks
- Maintain visual and auditory observation skills for operational awareness
- Availability to work a minimum of 30 hours per week
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Kitchen or restaurant experience in high-volume settings with food safety knowledge
- Food Handler or ServSafe certification a plus
- Strong time management, organization, and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Experience with kitchen management tools and inventory systems preferred
- Knowledge of local and sustainable ingredients preferred
Job Duties
- Lead the kitchen with a focus on quality and consistency
- Measure, cut, organize, and ensure product standards are met
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including ovens and hot tools
- Conduct tactile quality assessments to maintain food standards
- Engage in team communication for coordination, coaching, and incident documentation
- Observe and assess team performance ensuring adherence to operational standards
- Maintain active floor presence by performing hands-on tasks and supervising workflow
- Organize workflow and anticipate demand to manage tasks efficiently
- Execute duties outlined for Team Members to ensure smooth operations
