Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years experience in food service
  • experience in retail or customer service preferred
  • OSHA ServSafe certification preferred
  • leadership experience preferred
  • willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to lift 50 pounds
  • ability to stand and be on feet majority of the day
  • ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and squat
  • ability to push and pull heavy loads

Job Duties

  • Communicates Earth Fare vision and procedures to team members
  • participates in interviewing and trains prepared foods team
  • maintains a positive work environment
  • supervises and participates in production of prepared foods
  • ensures proper food presentation and display
  • maintains quality control standards
  • orders and receives deliveries
  • manages scheduling and responds to sales, shrink, and inventory reports
  • conducts monthly department inventory
  • develops and maintains attractive merchandising displays
  • ensures cleanliness and organization of department and equipment
