Job Requirements
- Meet all minimum requirements of the Team Member role
- Able to lift up to approximately 40 lbs including cases and bags of produce and protein
- Possess tactile sensitivity to assess quality and complete detail-oriented tasks
- Maintain visual and auditory attention to detail and environmental awareness
- Must be available to work at least 30 hours per week
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Authorized to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Kitchen or restaurant experience in high-volume settings
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Food Handler or ServSafe certification is a plus
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Attention to detail with a commitment to quality
- Effective communicator and team player
- Experience with kitchen management tools and inventory systems preferred
- Familiarity with local and sustainable ingredients preferred
Job Duties
- Lead the kitchen with a focus on quality and consistency across all shifts
- Measure, cut, organize, and ensure product standards are met
- Operate kitchen tools and equipment safely and effectively, including ovens and other hot or electrical tools
- Conduct tactile quality checks requiring fine motor skills and sensitivity
- Engage in verbal communication with team members for coordination, coaching, and incident documentation
- Observe and assess team performance to ensure operational quality and adherence to standards
- Maintain an active physical presence on the kitchen floor, performing hands-on tasks and staying visible
- Organize workflow, anticipate demand, and manage tasks efficiently
- Perform all essential functions as outlined in the Team Member role
