Job Requirements
- Meet all minimum requirements of the Team Member role
- Ability to lift and handle items including cases and bags of produce and protein up to approximately 40 pounds
- Tactile sensitivity to assess quality and complete detail-oriented tasks
- Visual and auditory observation skills to maintain attention to detail and environmental awareness during operations
- Availability to work a minimum of 30 hours per week
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Kitchen or restaurant experience in high-volume settings
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Food Handler or ServSafe certification is a plus
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Attention to detail with a commitment to quality
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with kitchen management tools and inventory systems
- Familiarity with local and sustainable ingredients preferred
Job Duties
- Lead the kitchen with a focus on quality and consistency
- Measure, cut, organize, and ensure product standards are met
- Use kitchen tools and equipment safely and effectively, including ovens and hot or electrical tools
- Conduct tactile quality assessments
- Engage in verbal communication with team members for coordination, coaching, and incident documentation
- Observe and assess performance to ensure operational quality and adherence to standards
- Maintain a consistent physical presence on the floor while performing hands-on tasks
- Organize workflow, anticipate demand, and efficiently manage tasks
- Perform all essential functions and meet minimum requirements as outlined in the Team Member role
