Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior restaurant or dishwashing experience
- ability to stand for long periods
- ability to lift and/or move at least 50 pounds
- friendly attitude and good teamwork skills
- willingness to work flexible shifts
- ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in dishwashing or restaurant environment preferred
- leadership or supervisory experience beneficial
- ability to train and instruct staff
- knowledge of dishwashing equipment and chemical use
- strong teamwork and positive attitude
- basic understanding of kitchen sanitation and safety standards
Job Duties
- Supervise the dishwashing staff in daily sweeping, mopping, and dishwasher maintenance
- teach new dish machine operators proper pre-scraping, pre-spraying, racking and sorting techniques
- monitor dish machine setup and washing supply levels, report maintenance and chemical needs
- maintain a clean and safe work environment in dish areas and kitchen
- assist in collection and proper disposal of recycled kitchen refuse
- supervise monthly kitchen and equipment cleaning including hood cleaning
- perform other duties as assigned
