Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of three years of experience in kitchen operations within a grocery retail environment
- At least one year in a management role supervising kitchen staff
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and lead a team
- Knowledge of OSHA Health Department and HAACP safety standards
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility to work varied schedules including evenings weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a grocery retail setting with at least 3 years in a kitchen operations role and at least 1 year in a current management role
- Strong organizational time management dependability and employee development and leadership skills
- Has a positive attitude and looks for solutions to problems with the ability to collaborate with others
- Ability to work on own initiative with little to no supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities skilled in planning prioritizing coordinating organizing and leading a team
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule including evenings weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Supervise and support the kitchen department staff ensuring a positive and collaborative work environment
- Provide excellent customer service and resourceful assistance responding appropriately in all customer interactions
- Comply with all State Federal and company safety policies and procedures and ensure department follows all OSHA and Health Department and HAACP standards
- Collaborate with your team to implement effective merchandising strategies including product displays promotions and signage to maximize product movement
- Place and receive product orders ensuring accuracy and proper storage of incoming merchandise
- Monitor product quality freshness presentation and ensure proper rotation of merchandise in accordance with store policy
- Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and health and safety regulations
- Embrace new challenges and be a flexible team player taking on responsibilities as needed
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required
