Job Requirements

  • crew members communicate clearly, quickly and politely with co-workers
  • quickly and accurately prepare food products following restaurant, health and safety standards
  • be pleasant and alert to customer needs
  • safely operate and maintain kitchen equipment including grill, fryer, freezer
  • work as a team member to assure quality, service, cleanliness and value
  • clean work area, organize and stock needed items
  • stock and rotate products properly
  • complete assigned prep work for grill setup
  • control food production process
  • clean grill area thoroughly daily
  • wash counters, tables, restrooms and trash receptacles
  • gather and remove trash from dining and service areas
  • perform occasional outside cleaning tasks
  • inform supervisor promptly of problems
  • perform duties requested by management or shift leaders
  • operate grill according to standards and procedures
  • ensure quick, accurate and safe food production
  • assist in maintaining guest satisfaction
  • maintain positive relationships with employees and customers
  • communicate significant issues with management

Job Qualifications

  • experience in food preparation and kitchen operations
  • ability to follow health and safety protocols
  • good communication skills
  • ability to work as part of a team
  • attention to detail
  • previous experience in a restaurant kitchen preferred

Job Duties

  • cook, assemble and wrap food items
  • stock all needed products and preparation materials
  • maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • operate and maintain kitchen equipment including grill, fryer, and freezer
  • communicate clearly and politely with co-workers
  • ensure all food production meets restaurant and health safety standards
  • complete assigned prep work and clean grill area daily
