Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • one to three years of related experience or training in related field
  • must obtain and maintain Serv-Safe certification
  • must obtain and maintain a valid racing license
  • ability to stand for the duration of the shift
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • ability to work long hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to handle varied noise levels and crowds
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • knowledge of gaming operations, rules, and regulations
  • ability to multi-task
  • ability to cook, clean, and handle cash and credit card transactions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Greets each guest upon arrival
  • receives cash, credit cards, or comps from customers as payment and follows through on cashier ordering process
  • obtains cash from Main Bank and sets up cash drawer prior to shift
  • ensures shift is set up for success with necessary supplies
  • ensures accuracy in computing bill, makes correct change, and issues receipt
  • closes register at end of each shift including counting down drawer and completing paperwork
  • returns cash to the main bank
  • assures assigned section or position is ready for service prior to opening shift
  • follows quality service and cost control measures
  • works varying positions including cooking, cashiering, serving, bussing, and dishwashing
  • adheres to customer service and sequence of service standards
  • completes all assigned side work prior to leaving shift
  • maintains clean and sanitary work environment
  • cleans work area and equipment used in food preparation
  • cleans dishwashing machine regularly
  • racks, rinses, washes, and places plates efficiently
  • manages bus tubs during service
  • cleans pots, pans, utensils, and dish area
  • sweeps and mops floors
  • removes trash during shift
  • checks trash cans continuously
  • notifies F&B Manager of needed supplies
  • puts away deliveries
  • follows fire and safety procedures
  • performs related duties as assigned
