Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one to three years of related experience and/or training in related field
- must obtain and maintain Serv-Safe certification
- must obtain and maintain a valid racing license
- ability to stand for the duration of the shift
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to work long hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- willingness to work in moderate to loud noise levels and varying work environments
- basic proficiency in cash handling and food preparation
- ability to communicate effectively
Job Qualifications

- knowledge of gaming operations, rules, and regulations

- ability to cook, clean and handle cash/credit card transactions
Job Duties
- Greet each guest upon arrival
- receive cash, credit cards, or comps from customers as payment
- follow through on cashier ordering process to ensure standards for order taking are met and create a great guest experience
- obtain cash from Main Bank and set up cash drawer prior to shift
- ensure shift is set up for success with necessary cashier supplies
- ensure accuracy in computing bills on cash register, make correct change, and issue receipts
- close register at end of shift including counting down drawer and completing necessary paperwork
- return cash to the main bank
- assure assigned section or position is ready for service prior to opening shift
- ensure quality service standards are followed using cost control measures
- work varying positions throughout shift including cooking, cashiering, serving, bussing, and dishwashing
- adhere to established policies and procedures regarding customer service and sequence of service standards
- complete all assigned side work prior to leaving shift
- maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
- clean work area and equipment used in food preparation
- clean and empty dishwashing machine regularly
- rack, rinse, wash, and place plates efficiently according to organizational practices
- remove bus tubs from cart and replace with clean tub for service
- wash dishes, wipe down walls and dish area, and clean pots and pans sink before breaks and at shift end
- sweep and mop floors including under tables and racks
- clean and dry pots, pans, and serving utensils before storage
- remove trash during shift and at end of shift, including cleaning and returning trashcans
- check trash cans continuously
- notify F&B Manager of needed supplies
- put away deliveries after receipt
- demonstrate knowledge of fire and departmental safety procedures
- take necessary precautions for lifting, equipment operation, and knife usage
- perform other related duties as assigned
