Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to three years of related experience and/or training in related field
- Must obtain and maintain Serv-Safe certification
- Must obtain and maintain a valid racing license
- Ability to stand for long periods during shifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work long hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to three years of related experience or training in food service or hospitality
- Obtained and maintained Serv-Safe certification
- Valid racing license acquired and maintained
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of gaming operations, rules, and regulations
- Ability to multi-task effectively
- Experience handling cooking, cleaning, cash, and credit card transactions
Job Duties
- Greet each guest upon arrival and handle cash, credit cards, or comps from customers as payment
- Set up cash drawer and obtain cash from Main Bank before shifts
- Ensure shift is prepared with necessary cashier supplies such as register tape, pens, cookies, and cups
- Accurately compute bills on cash register, make correct change, and issue receipts
- Close register at the end of each shift including counting drawer and completing paperwork
- Maintain and prepare assigned section or position for service prior to shift
- Follow quality service standards and cost control measures for supplies
- Perform various roles including cooking, cashiering, serving, bussing, and dishwashing
- Adhere to established customer service and sequence of service policies
- Complete all assigned side work before leaving shift
- Maintain clean and sanitary work environment
- Clean work area and equipment used in food preparation
- Regularly clean and empty dishwashing machine
- Wash and place plates according to organizational standards
- Manage trash and keep work areas tidy
- Notify management of needed supplies for operations
- Follow safety procedures and take precautions for equipment and lifting
- Perform other duties as assigned
