Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to three years of related experience and/or training in related field
  • Must obtain and maintain Serv-Safe certification
  • Must obtain and maintain a valid racing license
  • Ability to stand for long periods during shifts
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to work long hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to three years of related experience or training in food service or hospitality
  • Obtained and maintained Serv-Safe certification
  • Valid racing license acquired and maintained
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of gaming operations, rules, and regulations
  • Ability to multi-task effectively
  • Experience handling cooking, cleaning, cash, and credit card transactions

Job Duties

  • Greet each guest upon arrival and handle cash, credit cards, or comps from customers as payment
  • Set up cash drawer and obtain cash from Main Bank before shifts
  • Ensure shift is prepared with necessary cashier supplies such as register tape, pens, cookies, and cups
  • Accurately compute bills on cash register, make correct change, and issue receipts
  • Close register at the end of each shift including counting drawer and completing paperwork
  • Maintain and prepare assigned section or position for service prior to shift
  • Follow quality service standards and cost control measures for supplies
  • Perform various roles including cooking, cashiering, serving, bussing, and dishwashing
  • Adhere to established customer service and sequence of service policies
  • Complete all assigned side work before leaving shift
  • Maintain clean and sanitary work environment
  • Clean work area and equipment used in food preparation
  • Regularly clean and empty dishwashing machine
  • Wash and place plates according to organizational standards
  • Manage trash and keep work areas tidy
  • Notify management of needed supplies for operations
  • Follow safety procedures and take precautions for equipment and lifting
  • Perform other duties as assigned
