- High School Diploma or equivalent
- California driver's license
- ServSafe food handling certificate required within first fourteen days of employment
- Kitchen Manager certification
- Experience working in a kitchen
- Experience in the nutritional needs of seniors, youth and families
- Experience with disadvantaged populations

Job Duties
- Responsible for food storage, food preparation, cooking, and serving daily meals
- prepare and clean kitchen areas daily, for service and inspections
- coordinate and supervise the kitchen volunteers
- oversee the inventory of food supplies
- oversee the preparation of food for special events and holidays
- other related duties as required
