Job Requirements

  • Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit
  • must be able to read, write, and speak English
  • must be able to accurately follow instructions verbally and in writing
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • must work in a fast-paced environment with urgency and empathy
  • must have outstanding coordination and multi-tasking abilities
  • professional appearance and demeanor required
  • ability to learn and work within POS, PMS, CRM, and other hospitality-specific software
  • must be able to interact well with guests, vendors, and team members
  • must have problem-solving skills and handle conflicts tactfully
  • knowledge of food and beverage service operations preferred but not required

Job Qualifications

  • Experience working efficiently in a high-volume production-oriented environment
  • knowledge of local, state, or federal food sanitation regulations
  • state alcohol server certification
  • state food handlers certificate
  • ability to learn and use hospitality software systems
  • outstanding coordination and multi-tasking abilities
  • professional appearance and demeanor
  • strong communication skills
  • fluency in English
  • fluency in other languages beneficial
  • ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Maintain positive guest relations at all times
  • resolve guest complaints to over-the-moon satisfaction
  • follow hotel policies with lost and found items
  • adhere to hotel requirements for guest and team member accidents or injuries and in emergency situations
  • continuously promote sanitation, safety, and security efforts
  • assist in the preparation of ingredients including chopping, cutting, and measuring
  • execute cooking tasks following established recipes and presentation standards
  • plate prepared foods based on the senior chef's guidance
  • maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
  • assist with monitoring kitchen inventory including restocking and tracking usage
  • participate in quality control measures with taste tests and inspections
  • adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • work closely with culinary team and servers to ensure timely and accurate order completion
  • stay informed about menu offerings and specials
  • inspect and ensure readiness of materials and equipment
  • comply with departmental policies and report accidents or breakages
  • adhere to food safety hygiene and OSHA regulations
  • perform other duties as assigned
