Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cooking experience preferred
- Knowledge of standard food handling and sanitation practices
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
- Must wear non-slip, oil resistant shoes
- Willingness to follow safety policies and use personal protective equipment
- Ability to follow federal, state, and local health regulations
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in a similar cooking role
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health standards
- Ability to follow recipes and prepare food according to guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and presentation skills

Job Duties
- Cooking all menu items for lunch, dinner, and banquet meal functions
- Supports an environment of high efficiency, quality, and customer service
- Maintains detailed knowledge of all menus, recipes, food quality standards and regulations
- Works on prepping for assigned meal periods
- Responsible for correctly presenting and portioning of food
- Ensures food leaves the kitchen simultaneously and in a timely fashion, is of high quality, and is prepared according to order
- Participates in preparation of food items such as salads, soups, sauces, meats, and vegetables according to prescribed recipes and guidelines
