Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in cooking or culinary role required
  • Food safety certification or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and guidelines
  • Basic math and counting skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Commitment to maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a cook or in a relevant culinary role
  • Knowledge of cooking methods and food preparation principles
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation practices
  • Food safety certification preferred or willingness to obtain
  • Basic math skills and ability to count ingredients accurately
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork ability
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not mandatory

Job Duties

  • Create a diverse selection of dishes using standardized recipes and production guidelines
  • Arrange work areas with necessary ingredients and tools
  • Prepare ingredients by cutting, trimming, measuring, blending
  • Safely operate kitchen tools and appliances including knives, ovens, stovetops, mixers
  • Cook dishes through baking, broiling, roasting, steaming and other methods
  • Present and distribute meals adhering to standards for appearance and quantity
  • Follow recommended food safety protocols and store food appropriately
  • Maintain hygiene of kitchen surfaces, machinery, and tools through cleaning and disinfecting
  • Provide outstanding service to customers with a positive attitude
  • Adhere to Aramark's safety and sanitation policies
  • Ensure security of organizational properties
