Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food preparation preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand and walk continuously during shift
  • Ability to follow recipes and safety protocols
  • Valid Food Handlers Card
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items for cooking using kitchen equipment
  • Follow recipe specifications and portion food products according to company standards
  • Maintain standards for quality, cleanliness, organization, customer service, safety, loss prevention, sanitation, store conditions, and food safety
  • Fill and re-stock front counter utensils, water sanitizer, vegetables, and drinks
  • Ensure all prepared food items are weighed, labeled, dated, packaged, and rotated according to company standards
  • Follow procedures for voids, refunds, transaction cancellation and saved recall transactions
  • Take food orders in person and by telephone
