Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary leadership role
  • strong knowledge of culinary techniques food management and safety standards
  • experience in menu planning and inventory management
  • ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high morale among staff members
  • excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • familiarity with bartending is a plus but not required
  • passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes

Job Duties

  • Lead and manage the kitchen staff fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • plan and develop innovative menus that meet dietary needs and preferences
  • oversee food preparation cooking and presentation to ensure quality standards are met
  • manage inventory including ordering supplies and minimizing waste
  • ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen
  • collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary requirements
  • train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques food safety practices and shift management
  • monitor kitchen operations during service to ensure efficiency and quality control
