Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field
  • minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior kitchen management role
  • certification in food safety and hygiene
  • strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • excellent physical stamina
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • effective team management and interpersonal skills

  • Proven experience as an executive chef or in a similar role
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • creativity and passion for culinary arts
  • knowledge of hygiene standards and kitchen safety regulations
  • ability to design innovative menus and recipes
  • proficiency in inventory management and cost control

Job Duties

  • Ensuring promptness, freshness and quality of dishes
  • coordinating cooks' tasks
  • implementing hygiene policies and examining equipment for cleanliness
  • designing new recipes, planning menus and selecting plate presentation
  • reviewing staffing levels to meet service, operational and financial objectives
  • hiring and training kitchen staff, such as cooks, food preparation workers and dishwashers
  • performing administrative tasks, taking stock of food and equipment supplies, and doing purchase orders
  • setting and monitoring performance standards for staff
  • obtaining feedback on food and service quality, and handling customer problems and complaints
