Job Requirements
- History of working in baking or related roles preferred
- Knowledge of baking techniques and sanitation regulations
- Food safety certification prerequisite
- Basic mathematical skills
- Effective interpersonal communication skills
- Physical ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand/walk for long periods
- Willingness to use PPE and comply with uniform standards
Job Qualifications
- Thorough knowledge of baking techniques, guidelines, and adherence to sanitation regulations
- Certification: Prerequisite for obtaining food safety certification(s)
- Mastery of basic mathematical skills and numeracy is important
- Skilled in interpersonal communication, adept in expressing ideas clearly through both written and verbal means
- Physical Qualifications: Should possess the capability to manage physical duties like lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking/standing
- The position may involve the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to uniform standards
- There could be a necessity for individuals to don Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and uniforms
Job Duties
- Utilize standardized recipes and production guidelines to bake a variety of goods
- Ensure your workstation is equipped with all the necessary ingredients and tools for baking
- Put together the components by quantifying, weighing, blending, chopping, and carrying out other necessary preparations
- Engage with baking devices such as ovens, cookers, and mixers
- Practice safe handling of utensils, like knives, while cooking and preparing meals
- Follow food safety procedures to properly store perishable items
- Follow proper hygiene protocols by sanitizing work areas, equipment, and utensils after each use
- Offer outstanding customer service and exhibit a positive attitude when engaging with guests, clients, customers, colleagues, and others
- Follow Aramark's safety protocols, which focus on implementing effective food safety and sanitation practices
- Ensure the security of corporate assets by adhering to specified safety protocols
- Involving tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extensive walking and standing
