Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in baking or food preparation preferred
- Food safety certification required
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and production standards
- Strong attention to hygiene and food safety practices
- Physical capability to perform lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for long periods
- Compliance with PPE and uniform protocols
- Effective communication skills
- Positive attitude and customer service orientation
Job Qualifications
- History of working in baking or related roles preferred
- Thorough knowledge of baking techniques, guidelines, and sanitation regulations
- Food safety certification(s) required
- Mastery of basic mathematical skills and numeracy
- Skilled in interpersonal communication, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage physical duties such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing
- Experience using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to uniform standards
Job Duties
- Utilize standardized recipes and production guidelines to bake a variety of goods
- Ensure workstation is equipped with necessary ingredients and tools
- Prepare components by quantifying, weighing, blending, chopping, and other preparations
- Operate baking devices such as ovens, cookers, and mixers
- Practice safe handling of utensils while cooking and preparing meals
- Follow food safety procedures to properly store perishable items
- Sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils after each use
- Offer outstanding customer service and exhibit a positive attitude
- Adhere to Aramark's safety protocols focusing on food safety and sanitation
- Ensure security of corporate assets by following safety protocols
