Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous baking experience preferred
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged standing
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to food safety and sanitation standards
- Willingness to wear personal protective equipment and uniform
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in baking or related roles preferred
- Knowledge of baking techniques, guidelines, and sanitation regulations
- Food safety certification or prerequisite for obtaining certification
- Basic mathematical skills and numeracy
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
- Physical capability to manage lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods
- Ability to adhere to uniform standards and use personal protective equipment (PPE)
Job Duties
- Utilize standardized recipes and production guidelines to bake a variety of goods
- Ensure workstation is stocked with necessary ingredients and tools for baking
- Assemble components by quantifying, weighing, blending, chopping, and other preparations
- Operate baking devices such as ovens, cookers, and mixers
- Practice safe handling of utensils while cooking and preparing meals
- Follow food safety procedures to properly store perishable items
- Sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils after each use
- Offer outstanding customer service with a positive attitude
- Adhere to safety protocols focusing on food safety and sanitation
- Secure corporate assets by following specified safety protocols
