Job Requirements
- Relevant experience in baking or food preparation
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to follow recipes and production guidelines accurately
- physical ability for tasks involving lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing
- willingness to use Personal Protective Equipment and adhere to uniform policies
- effective communication skills
- high school diploma or equivalent
Job Qualifications
- History of working in baking or related roles preferred
- thorough knowledge of baking techniques, guidelines, and sanitation regulations
- prerequisite food safety certification
- mastery of basic mathematical skills and numeracy
- skilled in interpersonal communication both written and verbal
- physical capability to manage duties like lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing
- ability to adhere to uniform standards and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Job Duties
- Utilize standardized recipes and production guidelines to bake a variety of goods
- ensure your workstation is equipped with all necessary ingredients and tools for baking
- prepare components by quantifying, weighing, blending, chopping, and carrying out other necessary preparations
- engage with baking devices such as ovens, cookers, and mixers
- practice safe handling of utensils during cooking and preparation
- follow food safety procedures to properly store perishable items
- sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils after each use
- offer outstanding customer service and exhibit a positive attitude when engaging with guests and colleagues
- adhere to Aramark's safety protocols and food safety and sanitation practices
- ensure the security of corporate assets by following specified safety protocols
