Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in baking or food preparation preferred
- food safety certification(s) required
- ability to follow recipes and production guidelines
- physical stamina to handle kitchen demands
- adherence to safety and hygiene standards
- willingness to wear personal protective equipment and uniform standards
Job Qualifications
- Experience in baking or related roles preferred
- thorough knowledge of baking techniques and adherence to sanitation regulations
- food safety certification required
- basic mathematical skills and numeracy
- strong interpersonal communication skills
- ability to express ideas clearly in written and verbal forms
- physical capability to perform lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking or standing
Job Duties
- Utilize standardized recipes and production guidelines to bake a variety of goods
- ensure workstation is equipped with necessary ingredients and tools for baking
- assemble components by quantifying, weighing, blending, chopping, and other preparations
- engage with baking devices such as ovens, cookers, and mixers
- practice safe handling of utensils while preparing food
- follow food safety procedures to properly store perishable items
- sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils after use
