Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous baking experience is an asset
  • valid food safety certification or willingness to obtain
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of standing
  • strong commitment to food safety and hygiene
  • ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • must adhere to PPE and uniform requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Experience working in baking or related roles preferred
  • knowledge of baking techniques and adherence to sanitation regulations
  • food safety certification prerequisite
  • basic mathematical and numeracy skills
  • strong interpersonal communication skills
  • physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged standing
  • ability to follow PPE and uniform standards

Job Duties

  • Utilize standardized recipes and production guidelines to bake a variety of goods
  • ensure workstations are equipped with necessary ingredients and tools
  • prepare components by quantifying, weighing, blending, chopping, and other preparations
  • operate baking equipment such as ovens, cookers, and mixers
  • practice safe handling of utensils including knives
  • follow food safety procedures to store perishable items appropriately
  • sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment after use
  • provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude
  • adhere to Aramark's food safety and sanitation protocols
  • ensure security of corporate assets by following safety protocols
