Job Requirements

  • Experience as a cook or related role required
  • Knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, and safety regulations
  • Ability to acquire food safety certification
  • Basic math and counting skills
  • Good interpersonal communication skills
  • Physical ability to perform lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and standing for long periods

Job Qualifications

  • Experience as a cook or in a related role
  • Knowledge of basic food preparation principles, cooking methods, and food safety regulations
  • Ability to acquire food safety certification
  • Basic math and counting skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Physical capability to perform lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing

Job Duties

  • Cooking and preparing food items according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
  • Laying out workstations with essential equipment and ingredients
  • Measuring, weighing, blending, cutting, trimming, and peeling food items to prepare ingredients
  • Using utensils and kitchen equipment such as ovens, cooking surfaces, slicers, and mixers safely
  • Applying cooking methods like baking, roasting, broiling, and steaming
  • Systematizing, embellishing, and apportioning meals as instructed
  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of workstations, instruments, and utensils
  • Following food safety policies for storage and sanitation
  • Prioritizing exceptional customer service and friendly interactions
  • Upholding Aramark's safety policies and protecting business assets
