Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in food service or kitchen management
  • Ability to lead and manage a team
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare delicious, nutritious food that supports children's health and development
  • Encourage healthy eating habits through appealing and wholesome meals
  • Maintain awareness of food allergies and dietary restrictions among children
  • Follow daily menus prepared in collaboration with or by the Director
  • Calculate and order food supplies as needed to ensure kitchen operations run smoothly
  • Oversee kitchen team members and supervise food service activities
  • Maintain overall cleanliness and safety standards within the kitchen area
