Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • ServeSafe certification or equivalent food safety certification
  • One year of experience in high volume cooking and catering operation
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety procedures
  • Familiarity with special diets and common food allergies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Google drives folders forms
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook multiple menu items for stations and catering in a timely manner adhering to recipes
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas during and at the end of shifts
  • Safely handle kitchen tools and equipment following operational standards
  • Communicate effectively regarding ingredient information related to allergies and special dietary needs
  • Work efficiently within a diverse community of students, employees, faculty, and staff
  • Adhere to kitchen sanitation and safety procedures
