Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in food preparation preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Capability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment
- Willingness to work flexible hours including emergency substitutions

Job Duties
- Assist in preparation, packaging and distribution of nutritious food items following district procedures
- Follow recipes, production sheets, portioning standards and use appropriate kitchen equipment
- Assist in cleaning, maintaining and troubleshooting kitchen equipment
- Report equipment malfunctions immediately to supervisor
- Complete daily food preparation, tray line or dispersion tasks within allotted time
- Comply with all food safety, sanitation and HACCP procedures
- Substitute in school location on emergency basis when required
