Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Maintain order and cleanliness in the kitchen and surrounding areas including back dock and dumpster areas
  • Keep all coolers clean, organized and items properly covered
  • Organize inventory, rotate stock, and fulfill requisition orders from cooks
  • Sweep and clean walk-in floor and dry storage areas
  • Assist driver with loading and unloading the truck and deliveries when necessary
  • Store delivered items after checking in
  • Assist with tracking and ordering necessary supplies
  • Maintain necessary certification
  • Follow safe food handling practices at all times
  • Attend meetings and events related to St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore
  • Uphold the vision, mission and values of St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore
  • Attend and participate fully in all required staff meetings
  • Create an atmosphere of care and respect for staff and customers
  • Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the position
