Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Assist the Chef and/or Cook with meal preparation
  • Set up and clear buffet lines or dining tables with plates, silverware, napkins, etc
  • Deliver food to buffet lines or tables and prepare beverages and desserts
  • Refill salt and pepper shakers and condiment containers
  • Load and empty the dishwasher, hand wash dishes and utensils, and store items properly
  • Sweep, vacuum and mop kitchen and dining areas
  • Empty trash containers in kitchen, dish room and dining room
  • Deliver dining room linens to utility room for cleaning
  • Restock paper products and food/snacks in dish room and other areas
  • Follow standard operating procedures for all kitchen appliances, equipment, and utensils
  • Adhere to University, House Corporation Board, and Chapter policies and rules
