Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver’s license
- ability to operate a vehicle safely
- reliable and punctual
- physical ability to perform light lifting and standing for long periods
- willingness to adhere to health and safety regulations
- background check clearance
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- experience in food preparation or kitchen aide roles preferred
- valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to follow instructions and work independently
- experience working with elders or in community programs is a plus
Job Duties
- prepare and serve nutritious meals to elders
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining area
- assist with meal setup and breakdown
- provide safe transportation for elders using SCIHP vehicle
- ensure friendly and respectful interaction with elders during transportation and meal service
- assist in inventory and restocking of kitchen supplies
- report any issues or concerns to the Title VI Manager
