Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Prior commercial kitchen experience preferred
  • California Food Handler Card within 30 days
  • CPR certification within 90 days
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen, physical, background check
  • Provide proof of immunization record
  • Provide a copy of current DMV printout
  • Maintain a valid CA Driver’s License and clean DMV record
  • Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols
  • Commit to a drug-free workplace environment
  • Be sensitive to the needs of the Native American community

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior commercial kitchen experience preferred

  • Valid California Driver’s License
  • Clean DMV record
  • Ability to manage time effectively
  • Ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods
  • Sensitivity to Native American culture and traditions

Job Duties

  • Prepare, package, and serve meals while maintaining strict sanitation standards
  • Wash, clean, and organize kitchen areas
  • Manage inventory and restock supplies
  • Maintain a valid CA Driver’s License and clean DMV record
  • Follow all traffic laws and agency safety protocols
  • Ensure safe transport of elders and assist with boarding and exiting vehicles
  • Communicate effectively and respect confidentiality
