Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 18 years of age
- Experience in nutritional needs of homeless populations
- Experience with disadvantaged populations through work, volunteering, or being a member of a disadvantaged population
- Trained or receiving training on informal mental health or substance abuse evaluation
- ServSafe food handling certificate or ability to obtain within first thirty days of employment

Job Duties
- Assist with food storage, food preparation, cooking and serving daily meals for shelter clients
- Prepare and clean kitchen areas daily for service and inspections
- Coordinate and supervise the kitchen volunteers
- Coordinate and work with other kitchen staff in ordering and inventorying food supplies
- Perform other related duties as required
