Job Duties
- Acknowledge all customers entering and exiting the store
- provide the highest quality of interactions with customers by being pleasant, friendly, and polite
- prepare food items per established recipes and menus while preserving food freshness, quality, and nutritional value
- thank customers in a meaningful and thoughtful manner
- respond quickly and respectfully to customer complaints and notify the supervisor
- make suggestive selling to enhance customer satisfaction
- acknowledge customers at the carryout counter and respond to their needs promptly
- answer telephones promptly and courteously
- store food items using proper labeling and dating systems
- maintain a safe, tidy, and organized work environment
- communicate kitchen needs and concerns to the supervisor
- monitor and report kitchen equipment functionality
- utilize safe food handling techniques
- obtain knowledge of menu items and pricing
- accept constructive criticism and follow directions
- support staff in essential kitchen functions
- maintain inventory of food items and tools
- learn and perform pie-line, oven expediting, and cutting counter procedures
- complete all assigned cleaning and prep work
- maintain a positive attitude
- perform other tasks assigned by management
- expect additional duties as assigned
- adhere to physical requirements including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods
- maintain regular attendance at work
