Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen environment is advantageous

Job Duties
- Acknowledge all customers entering and exiting the store
- Provide the highest quality of interactions with customers - be pleasant, friendly, and polite
- Prepare food items per established recipes and menus to preserve freshness, quality, appeal, and nutritional value
- Thank customers in a meaningful manner
- Respond quickly and respectfully to customer complaints and notify the person in charge
- Make appropriate suggestions to customer orders using suggestive selling techniques
- Acknowledge customers at the carryout counter and respond promptly
- Answer telephones courteously with a smile
- Store food items according to standards, labeling and dating properly
- Maintain a safe, tidy, well-organized work environment and clean up spills quickly
- Communicate needs and concerns about food production and kitchen operations to supervisors
- Monitor kitchen equipment and report discrepancies
- Utilize safe food handling techniques
- Obtain knowledge of menu items and pricing
- Take constructive criticism and follow directions
- Support other staff to ensure essential kitchen functions
- Maintain inventory of food items and tools
- Obtain knowledge of pie-line, oven expediting, and cutting counter procedures
- Perform duties in any assigned area
- Complete all cleaning and prep work
- Maintain a positive attitude
- Perform other assignments as directed by management
- Expect additional duties and responsibilities
