Job Qualifications

  • 4+ years cooking and kitchen administration experience
  • California Food Handler card
  • Employee Health Certificate
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Job Duties

  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
  • Prepare food for service such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
  • Answer, report and follow instructions while reporting to Kitchen Manager or Supervisor
  • Clean up station and take care of leftover food
  • Stock inventory appropriately
  • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
  • Conduct and complete any other duties requested by Senior Management or Human Resource Department
