Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of basic food handling and preparation techniques
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Physical stamina to withstand a full shift on their feet
  • Must obtain/maintain Serv Safe® or State certification
  • Knowledge/training/certification in kitchen emergencies (First Aid, CPR, Fires)

Job Duties

  • Assist with food preparation and cooking under the direction of the kitchen manager or head chef
  • Prepare all specialty food items (keto, vegan, etc.) by following recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistent quality
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining experience for customers
  • Help front of house by providing excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing customer concerns
  • Help direct in additional duties such as sweeping, dishes, or garbage
  • Help front of house with tasks, e.g., box making, bag stamping, and wiping down tables
