Job Duties
- Acknowledge all customers entering and exiting the store
- provide the highest quality of interactions with customers by being pleasant, friendly, and polite
- prepare food items per established recipes and menus maintaining freshness, quality, and nutritional value
- thank customers meaningfully and thoughtfully
- respond quickly and respectfully to customer complaints and notify the person in charge
- make appropriate suggestions to customers' orders using suggestive selling techniques
- acknowledge customers at the carryout counter and respond to their needs promptly
- answer telephones courteously
- store food items properly using labeling and dating systems
- maintain a safe and tidy work environment
- communicate food production and kitchen operation needs to supervisors
- monitor and report kitchen equipment functionality
- utilize safe food handling techniques
- learn complete menu items and pricing
- support other staff for adequate kitchen function
- maintain inventory of food items and tools
- understand pie-line, oven, and cutting counter procedures
- perform cleaning and prep work
- maintain positive attitude
