  • experience in food preparation or customer service is preferred but not required
  • ability to follow established recipes and food safety standards

Job Duties

  • Acknowledge all customers entering and exiting the store
  • provide the highest quality of interactions with customers by being pleasant, friendly, and polite
  • prepare food items per established recipes to maintain freshness, quality, and nutritional value
  • thank customers meaningfully and thoughtfully
  • respond quickly and respectfully to customer complaints and inform the person in charge
  • make appropriate suggestions to customers' orders using suggestive selling techniques
  • store food items according to established standards and use proper labeling and dating systems
  • maintain a safe, tidy, and well-organized work environment
  • communicate needs and concerns to supervisors promptly
  • monitor kitchen equipment and report discrepancies
  • utilize safe food handling techniques
  • obtain complete knowledge of menu items and pricing
  • take constructive criticism and follow directions
  • support other staff in kitchen functions
  • maintain inventory of food items and tools
  • gain functional knowledge of pie-line, oven expediting, and cutting counter procedures
  • prepare menu items consistently
  • perform any assigned duties by management
  • complete all cleaning and prep work
  • maintain a positive attitude
  • perform any other tasks assigned by management
  • adhere to physical requirements such as lifting and standing
  • attendance is mandatory
