Job Duties
- Acknowledge all customers entering and exiting the store
- provide the highest quality of interactions with customers by being pleasant, friendly, and polite
- prepare food items per established recipes to maintain freshness, quality, and nutritional value
- thank customers meaningfully and thoughtfully
- respond quickly and respectfully to customer complaints and inform the person in charge
- make appropriate suggestions to customers' orders using suggestive selling techniques
- store food items according to established standards and use proper labeling and dating systems
- maintain a safe, tidy, and well-organized work environment
- communicate needs and concerns to supervisors promptly
- monitor kitchen equipment and report discrepancies
- utilize safe food handling techniques
- obtain complete knowledge of menu items and pricing
- take constructive criticism and follow directions
- support other staff in kitchen functions
- maintain inventory of food items and tools
- gain functional knowledge of pie-line, oven expediting, and cutting counter procedures
- prepare menu items consistently
- perform any assigned duties by management
- complete all cleaning and prep work
- maintain a positive attitude
- perform any other tasks assigned by management
- adhere to physical requirements such as lifting and standing
- attendance is mandatory
